Redshift Education is pleased to announce the acquisition of four established independent schools: Salcombe Preparatory School (Southgate, London), Glenesk School (East Horsley), Colchester Prep & High School (Colchester), and King's School & Nursery (Plymouth).
These schools join our founding schools, Polam School (Bedford) and Long Close School (Slough), strengthening Redshift Education’s growing UK independent schools group.
Each school brings a strong heritage, high academic standards, and excellent pastoral care. Building on their established foundations, Redshift Education will support continued success whilst encouraging collaboration, innovation, and an enriched pupil experience.

Redshift Education, represents a new chapter in educational excellence, founded by Timothy Fisher, a distinguished leader in education, investment management, and professional sport. As the leading founder of Stirling Education, an international group of schools with a strong reputation for academic rigour and global perspective, Mr Fisher brings a wealth of experience in establishing and guiding high-quality educational institutions.
He also serves as Chairman of the National Association of Examinations Officers (NAEO). His leadership in international education coupled with formal British examinations brings invaluable insight to Redshift’s mission of delivering outstanding independent education and academic outcomes.
Redshift has been established to support British schools to thrive and grow — both now and in the future — with a long-term commitment to growth and excellence. Its objective is to build a group of UK schools that each retain their unique character while consistently delivering outstanding educational outcomes.
